Failing doesn't mean you are the failure.

Every year I make New Years resolutions. Although it seems I don't always stick with them as I had hoped, I can't help myself from making a fresh new list of goals. Maybe it's because I'm actually a list-making addict or because it's New Years Eve and it's just the thing to do, but I think it's a good excuse to TRY. Try to better yourself, try something new, try to reach for that dream you've always hung onto. Who knows, maybe one day you'll reach that seemingly unattainable goal and how awesome will that be? Besides, even if you fail at least that means you got up off the couch and tried, that's better than not attempting to move off the couch because you're afraid of failure, right? Right.

  1. Perfect! I follow a non-resolution plan, because I hate resolutions. BUT I do try to make each year a little better by starting the year with a positive outlook. And I'll set a goal to try new things that scare me a little. At least one or two. :)

  2. Thanks Olivia! It just feels good to have a fresh start, even if it's really only imaginary. After all the splurging and gorging of the holidays a debt or food diet isn't such a bad idea, even if it only lasts to Superbowl Sunday. Nachos anyone?
